- Healthy TEAth & Gums -

Dr. Kristina Wiley has been in the dental industry for over 20 years. Her passion and commitment to the tea industry has flowed into the dental industry. Early on, she discovered that the patients she treated who were regular tea consumers had a lesser cavity rate. “The relationship between the health benefits of tea and the health of the oral cavity are numerous,” claims Dr. Wiley. The benefits of tea on teeth can be attributed to the low acidity and natural fluoride. Dr. Wiley has expanded on the concept with her creation of TEAth Floss. “If we can encourage tea lover’s to floss, this can result in healthier gum tissues, less stain build up and less cavities”, says Dr. Wiley. “It is only necessary to floss the teeth you wish to keep”. A powerful, but true, statement which appears on the back of every package of TEAth Floss.

In a statement from the company, “The health benefits of tea on the human body have been studied and published over and over again. It is about time the dental industry recognizes tea as a valuable asset to good oral health. Since the bacteria that cause periodontal disease has been linked to increase risks of heart disease, diabetes and pregnancy complications, it has become more important than ever to floss on a daily basis. Dental floss removes bacteria between the teeth decreasing inflammation of the gum tissue.”

Made from nylon, the dental floss is coated with natural beeswax and is shred resistant. The floss is available in two flavors: Green Tea and Ceylon Cinnamon and sells for $4.99 each. The flavoring on the floss is 100% natural, resulting in a light and delicate taste, just like a good cup of tea.

TEAth Floss can be purchased online at for $4.99. Wholesale inquiries and questions for Dr. Wiley can be directed to

- Natural Antioxidant Coffee -
From Caffe Sanora

It wasn’t all that long ago that most of us didn’t even know what an antioxidant was and here we are today packing them into our diets and demanding they be in our eye creams, body lotions, and now coffee. Yes, coffee.

Newspapers and magazines have been filled with conflicting information about the health benefits of coffee. But what if something that we love really could also be good for us? Jittery java junkies will jump for joy!

Green coffee beans are a rich source of beneficial antioxidants called polyphenols but in order to make coffee from these raw beans, they must be roasted at high temperatures, destroying many of the antioxidants. Caffe Sanora has found a way to preserve these antioxidants through the use of their patented Healthy Roast™ process. The process produces a delicious cup of coffee rich in the powerful antioxidants known to fight free radicals and potentially reduce the damaging effects on cellular health. Caffe Sanora reports that they are “able to retain more of the natural antioxidants in the final brewed cup than other premium Arabica bean coffees” and “deliver a coffee containing more antioxidants than most green teas.”

Caffe Sanora organic premium coffee may not only be good for you but it has also earned high marks from professional cuppers. 100% organic Arabica coffee, Caffe Sanora makes several great varieties that retail for around ten dollars for a 12 oz. bag.

  • Breakfast Blend: clean, fresh flavor that comes from lightly roasted Arabica beans.
  • House Blend (available in decaf too): full-bodied and highly aromatic coffee.
  • Dark Roast: packed with deep, complex flavors—a great match with dessert!
  • Espresso Roast: roasted just a little darker for an authentic continental character. An outstanding crema makes for an exceptional espresso (though it's also wonderful simply brewed up in a pot).

Sprinkle a few goji berries on your multi-grain cereal and have a cup of Caffe Sanora coffee—give your day a healthy start!

- Tea Candy -
Bali's Best

Tea, an ancient beverage savored for its rich, complex flavors, has been enjoyed for centuries. Using great, quality tea from Indonesia, Fusion Gourmet, the makers of Bali’s Best Candies, has created amazing tea candies sure to satisfy every tea lover.

The natural tea extract that is used in the Bali’s Best tea candies originates from whole green tea that is grown exclusively in the islands of Java. Mindfully hand-plucked, the tea derives its fresh, lively flavor and light floral scent from the sultry Javanese climate and rich soils. The result is a candy that is perfectly balanced with the essence of the whole tealeaf.

But how do these candies taste? In taste trials conducted in the “test kitchen” they received high marks resulting in comments like “wow” and “spectacular”. Sweet, but not too sweet, the candies are 100% natural and contain zero trans fat. Smooth and satisfying, the candies are infused with real tea extract and are a natural source of antioxidants. The candies were also praised for their individual foil wrapping—perfect to toss into a purse, briefcase, desk drawer, glove compartment, or coat pocket.

Introduced to the market in January 2008, Bali’s Best candies are currently available in two flavors: Classic Iced Tea and Green Tea Latte. According to the company, a third flavor, Citrus Green Tea, will be available in May. The candies sell for around two dollars for a 5.3 oz. bag and can be purchased at retailers nationwide, including Whole Foods, Wegman’s, Kroger, Cost Plus World Market and others.

Fusion Gourmet (Gardena, CA) is a confectionary manufacturer specializing in all-natural gourmet products under the Bali’s Best and Dolcetto brands.
